In a recent press release, Honda announced that both the 2018 and 2019 CR-V earned “Superior” ratings for its Collision Mitigation Braking System™ for Pedestrian Detection and Crash Prevention from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Its Honda Sensing® technologies package had previously earned the same rating for Crash Avoidance and Mitigation.
