The Honda Ridgeline is Revamped for 2020

Midsize pickup enthusiasts became fans of the Ridgeline for the vehicle's versatility but affordable luxury amenities. The latest models have undergone some changes that make the pickups more appealing on all levels.

All of the Honda Ridgeline models come standard with a 3.5-liter, six-cylinder engine that delivers up to 280 horsepower. The engines are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and are available in front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Front-wheel-drive pickups capably tow up to 3,500 pounds and have an EPA rating of 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Waterbury CT owners choosing all-wheel-drive models may tow up to 5,000 pounds and get 19 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.

Interior and Design

The base Sport models come with fabric upholstery, power locks, mirrors and windows along with keyless entry and push-button engine start. All occupants benefit from the automatic three-zone climate control. The RTL trim level comes with leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated and power-adjustable front seats in addition to a moonroof, and a sliding rear window. The RTL-E trim level adds technology that remembers the driver's settings for the side mirrors and seat adjustments. The vehicle also adds a heated steering wheel. The Elite Black Edition models come with ambient lighting and red-stitched black leather upholstery.

All the pickups have a 5.3-foot truck bed, which has a volume of 34 cubic feet. However, the width of the bed is 50 inches.

All the Honda Ridgeline pickups come with an eight-inch touchscreen on the infotainment system that is integrated for smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth. The driver has a 4.2-inch LCD instrument panel display. The base models additionally provide one USB port. However, the RTL-E and the Black Edition models add two more USB ports for the rear-seat passengers. The RTL-E models add LED exterior lighting, auto-dimming rearview mirrors, automatic high-beam headlights, and a premium stereo system. The upper trim levels also boast an actuator that turns the truck bed into a large stereo speaker.

Standard Honda Sensing features include forward-collision alerts with automatic emergency braking, road departure warning, and lane-keeping assist along with adaptive cruise control. Simply put, drivers around Bristol CT and Farmington will feel confident every time they get behind the wheel.
